Amanda McGrew

Soccer became a passion of mine at a young age! I played recreational and travel soccer in Lafayette. My small high school, Rossville Consolidated, didn’t yet have a team, so I played on our community league through high school. I continued to play on indoor teams in college.

I moved to coaching once I started my teaching career. I coached the Garrett Varsity/JV soccer teams from 2014-2018. Stepping down after having our 3rd sweet baby! I have coached at the youth level (4s/5s) at the YMCA and through the Garrett League. I have loved working with all levels!

I have spent the last few years being a soccer mom and cheering on our 2 boys who play for the Rangers. We love that this club grows athletes as well as focuses on their character! My husband and I have been blessed with 4 kids and are both proud educators for DeKalb Central Schools. Education and soccer are two of my favorite things and I am honored to have the chance to mix the two as a coach.
