- “Player development to me means fostering individual decision-making, creativity, and confidence on the ball. Every kid has the ability to become an accomplished player and development is about unlocking that within their own skill set. Great players are built on strong fundamentals. Creativity and confidence follow when the foundation is solid. I want players to be comfortable with the ball under pressure, to recognize when to pass, when to shoot, and when to take someone on. It all comes together in free flowing creative team soccer playing with both passion and purpose. Soccer is also a vehicle for building commitment, owning decisions, and developing character that carries well beyond the field. But at the core this game is about joy. When a player genuinely loves being out there, everything else follows.”
