As we prepare to kick off an incredible 2026–2027 season, we are sharing a meaningful update regarding how our teams will be recognized this year, alongside important player registration and tuition information. Please ensure you review all of the information below thoroughly ahead of our parent meetings next week, as we will be discussing these updates in more detail and want everyone to be fully informed.

🔵🔴 Our Methodology: Team Naming Approach

Moving forward, we are changing how we name our individual squads. Rather than relying on traditional numbers or colors, each team name within the Academy will be explicitly tied to a legendary player who has historically exemplified the exact character, work rate, and technical skills we model and expect at Rangers Academy.

We want our players to look at their team name not just as a label, but as a blueprint for their own individual growth. Whether your player is on a team named after the creativity of Ronaldinho, the relentless work ethic of Luis Suárez, or the tactical intelligence of Aitana Bonmatí, they will be consistently challenged to internalize and live up to that specific academy standard. Importantly, these team names are designed to stick—they will follow your player through their entire development journey in our Academy, serving as a lasting benchmark for their growth over time.
